Taylor Swift’s knack for creating heartfelt, personalized gifts has once again been on display as she celebrated the birth of Brittany and Patrick Mahomes’ third child.

According to an Us Weekly source shared on Saturday, January 25, Swift, 35, allegedly crafted a special blanket for the Mahomes’ new baby girl, Golden, who was born earlier this month. The source stated that the singer “makes a lot of things for the people she loves and cares about,” and “makes sentimental gifts that are more of value to her than expensive gifts.”

The source continued to the outlet, noting, “she’s always thinking about her friends and values those gifts more than anything expensive,” emphasizing that Swift’s gifts to Brittany and Patrick, both 29, are imbued with sentiment rather than just material value. They added that the 14-time Grammy winner would rather “hunt for something special, personal and meaningful for people,” and that “she’s not the type to have her assistant just buy something.”

Swift has a history of making thoughtful, personalized presents for her loved ones. In 2020, supermodel Gigi Hadid revealed that Swift made a pink blanket for her daughter Khai in an Instagram Story. Similarly, Chiefs WAG Chariah Gordon shared to Glamour in 2024 that Swift sent her baby girl a sweet, handmade gift even while on tour.

Brittany announced her daughter’s birth on Instagram with the caption, “•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨,” to which Swift dropped a “like.” Other commenters included Swift’s boyfriend and Patrick’s teammate Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights, which said, “Congratulations 👏❤️.” Patrick’s brother Jackson Mahomes also commented, saying, “Uncle jack loves her so much already ❤️.”

As for Brittany, this is her third child with Patrick –– whom she’s been married to since 2022. The couple are already parents to daughter Sterling, 3, and a son named Bronze, 2.
