A video of a year-old dachshund named Frank yearning for his older sibling Pablo’s return from the vet has melted the hearts of viewers online, garnering more than 2,000 likes on Instagram.

The dachshund’s reaction, filmed by his owner and shared under @beth.pabs.frank on February 15, shows the canine looking visibly down after his sibling Pablo had gone out on a trip to the vet. The post, captioned, “They were made to be a duo,” has sparked amused comments from Instagram users about the close bond between the pair.

Viewers were able to see Frank’s demeanor shift dramatically between two scenes. In the first, he appeared despondent and lonely, climbing up his owner’s leg for comfort and lying on the couch with a bored expression. An overlaid text at this point in the video read, “Frank when Pablo was at the vets.”

When 3-year-old Pablo returned, Frank’s transformation was immediate. His tail wagged excitedly as he ran to greet his sibling, a moment of pure canine joy that resonated with viewers on the platform. The text then switched to, “Frank when Pablo was back home,” while the video showed the duo cuddling contentedly in bed.
