Donald Trump attacked his rival Vice President Kamala Harris, touted endorsements from steelworkers, and appeared to make surprising remarks about late golfing legend Arnold Palmer in a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday to drum up support in the critical swing state as Election Day looms ever closer.

The former president slammed Harris, whom he described as “radical left.”

“You have to tell Kamala Harris that you’ve had enough, that you just can’t take it anymore,” the former president said.

“We can’t stand you, you’re a s*** vice president, the worst. You’re the worst vice president. Kamala, you’re fired, get the hell out of here, you’re fired, get outta here.”

Steelworker Endorsements

Trump also touted endorsements from steelworkers, several of whom joined him on stage, including U.S. Steelworkers 1557 vice president Richard Tikey.

“Today I’m honored to receive the endorsement of three union locals representing U.S. steel,” Trump announced during the rally. Polls have shown that Trump enjoys strong support among working-class voters.

Not all steelworkers’ unions have endorsed Trump, as the United Steelworkers backed Harris in July.

Arnold Palmer Anecdote

During the rally, Trump appeared to insinuate that golf legend Arnold Palmer was well-endowed.

Trump said the late golfer, who passed away in 2016 was “all man” and “when he took showers with other pros, they came out of there and they said, ‘Oh my God, that’s unbelievable.'”

Trump stressed that he “had to say it,” but that he had stopped short of saying anything more explicit out of respect for “highly sophisticated” women in the crowd.

While attendees chuckled at the remarks, they were met with a mixture of confusion and criticism on social media.

Trump Says He Will See the Steelers

Prior to the rally, Trump announced he would be attending a Pittsburgh Steelers football game, but appeared to mix up the date.

In an audio interview, Trump said: “I’m heading to Pennsylvania, as you know.

“And then I’m doing a big stop, a big rally, and then I’m actually going to go to see the Pittsburgh Steelers play football tonight against, I think, the New York Jets.”

However, the Steelers were not playing that night, as pointed out by Harris’ campaign team on the Kamala HQ social media account.

The Steelers’ matchup against the Jets was scheduled to take place the following night.

Fox Switches from Trump Rally to Harris Coverage

Fox News cut away from coverage of Trump’s rally to an event Harris was holding in Atlanta.

A clip of the switch, shared by Harris’ campaign team claimed that the outlet switched over to “Vice President Harris’ much bigger rally,” though the post did not include attendance figures for either campaign event.

Newsweek has contacted the Trump campaign for comment via email on Sunday outside of standard working hours.
